I picked up one of the Escape Motions painting apps while it was on sale, it feels like a solid deal for what you get. The tools are fun to mess around with, and I really appreciate not having to deal with a subscription.

There are a few things that took me some time to figure out, and my laptop does get a little warm when I’m using it, but overall I’m happy with the purchase. It’s not perfect, but it’s good value, and I can definitely see myself coming back to use it regularly

I tried using this app, but it crashes way too often. It already lost my work twice, which is so frustrating. Like, how am I supposed to trust it if it can’t even stay open? Make it make sense.

I had an issue and expected it to turn into a frustrating back-and-forth, because that’s usually how support goes. Thankfully, they got back to me fast and were friendly about it. Still, the problem itself was annoying, so I mostly just felt relieved it didn’t drag on

I’ve been using it on both my laptop and my tablet... it runs just fine on both. No real issues so far — it just works like I needed it to

I like the brush features and the effects are nice overall, but for some reason some parts of the app feel more confusing than they need to be. I think it would be a lot better with more useful presets and settings that are easier to adjust

I’ve been using Escape Motions software for a few months now, it’s been running really smoothly on my PC. I haven’t had any weird crashes so far, even when working with bigger files, which is kind of what you hope for, right?

The brushes feel quick and responsive, and that’s probably the biggest thing for me. Loading and saving have been fast too, so it doesn’t really get in the way when I’m trying to stay in the flow.

The only thing I’d say is that a few tools took me a little while to figure out, but maybe that’s just me still getting used to everything. Overall though, I’m really happy with how it performs

It does have a really nice, realistic paint feel, which I liked at first... but the lag gets frustrating after a while...

The new updates did fix a couple of bugs, but it’s not even about that for me. My brushes still lag, and some of my old settings got changed around, which threw off my whole setup. Support took a while to get back to me too. The app is still usable, but it’s just more frustrating than it used to be.

I’m happy with these brushes and tools. The brushes feel really smooth, and the tools are comfortable in my hand, which makes me feel more confident using them. It did take me a little bit of time to figure everything out, but once I got the hang of it, I felt like they worked really well

I spent a little time going through the tutorials, mostly just clicking around and trying to follow along at my own pace. Some of it was easy enough to pick up, and I did manage to get started without too much trouble. I guess if you already know a bit, it probably feels straightforward. For me, though, a few sections moved a little fast and could’ve used more explanation or examples. It’s not bad overall, just maybe not as beginner-friendly as it could be.

Activation was super easy. I entered the code and it worked on the first try with no issues at all.

The site looks clean and simple, and overall it’s easy to get around. It did take me a minute to find a few of the tools though, which was a little annoying. If that part doesn’t get easier, I could see myself switching to something else, but for now it’s been a decent experience.

I tried escapemotions.com and overall it was easy to figure out right away. I didn’t have to dig through menus or read a bunch of instructions, which I appreciated. Everything was clear enough and worked like I expected. The only thing that got on my nerves was the waiting at times, I just wanted to get going without sitting around. Still, it’s nice when a site is mostly straightforward and doesn’t make things complicated

Setting this up was way more frustrating than it should’ve been. The installer failed on me twice, and it really felt like nobody bothered to make sure this thing actually works before sending it out. Such a waste of time.
